Write My Essay For Me

EX#2 OBSERVATION: TRANSCRIBED CONVERSATION Eavesdrop on and transcribe to the best possible accuracy a conversation between two people. You cannot be one of the two people. Further instructions given in Podcast #3. 2-3 pages. Due by 5:00pm EST on Sunday, 5/27/18.

EX#3 SCRIPTWRITING FORMAT SCENE Using your transcribed conversation from Exercise #2 as creative inspiration, write a scene in the correct scriptwriting format. Do not worry about dramatic content, concentrate on format. You will write the rest of the exercises in this course in this format. Further instructions given in Podcast #4. 3-5 pages. Due by 5:00pm EST on Sunday, 5/27/18.

EX#4 DISCOVERY SCENE Create a character and write the following “Character Checklist” describing him/her. Write in complete sentences. 1. Name 2. Physical Appearance 3. Backstory (their story before your scene begins) 4. Present Circumstances (ex. Occupation, income, location, relationships) 5. Values. Beliefs, world view, attitudes, opinions 6. loves 7. hates 8. fears 9. wants/desires 10. imperfections/contradictions of character

After you finish the checklist, compose a 3-7 page “Discovery scene” in which your character makes a discovery. The discovery must occur onscreen, it must be clear what difference it makes to your character, and why it makes a difference. If you can, please put both the Character Checklist and the Scene in the same Microsoft Word document or PDF. If you can’t, please label the two documents clearly and submit them in the same email. Write this scene in the correct scriptwriting form, as outlined in Exercise #3. Further instructions given in Podcast #5. Due by 5:00pm EST on Wednesday, 6/20/18.

EX#5 DECISION SCENE This assignment begins with a classic people-watching game. Pick out an interesting looking person that you see in public. Describe that person physically and give them a name. Also note where and when you saw them. You are going to turn this person into a character, and write (less than one page) a monologue in the first person, so you are writing as if you are this person, and “introduce yourself” and write about your background. If you struggle with this, refer back to the Character Checklist part of the previous assignment – these are the kinds of things you might want to include in your monologue.

Then, using this character, you will write a 3-7 page scene in which the character makes a decision. The decision must occur onscreen, it must be clear why this person made this decision, and the consequences of the decision must be portrayed onscreen. Please put both the Monologue and the Scene in the same Microsoft Word document or PDF if you can. If you can’t, please label the two documents clearly and submit them in the same email. Write this scene in the correct scriptwriting form, as outlined in Exercise #3. Further instructions given in Podcast #6. Due by 5:00pm EST on Wednesday, 6/20/18.

EX#6 CONFLICT SCENE For this assignment you will write a 3-7 page script, in the correct scriptwriting format, about a conflict between two characters. Character A wants something from Character B, which Character B does not want to give (this does not have to be something physical – it could be something verbal, like an apology, or an acceptance of a proposal; or it could be something emotional, like regret or remorse). We must understand in your scene why Character A wants what he/she wants, and why Character B doesn’t want to give it. During your script Character A must fail once at getting what he/she is trying to get from Character B, and must try a second time. Beyond that, the resolution is up to you – Character A can succeed or fail in their second attempt. Write this scene in the correct scriptwriting form, as outlined in Exercise #3. Further instructions given in Podcast #7. Due by 5:00pm EST on Wednesday, 6/20/18.

EX#7 IMPROBABLE CONNECTION SCENE For this assignment you will write a 3-7 page script, in the correct scriptwriting format, demonstrating an improbable connection between two characters. The nature of the improbable connection – for example, a difference in social class, religion, politics, morals, etc. – is up to you. Try to come up with something that will be dramatically interesting. Write this scene in the correct scriptwriting form, as outlined in Exercise #3. Further instructions given in Podcast #8. Due by 5:00pm EST on Wednesday, 6/20/18.

Texts/Exams There are no required texts for this course and there are no exams. Once you turn in the second set of writing exercises (Ex#4-7), you are finished with the course.

Deadlines Because of its accelerated six-week structure, this course will be very deadline-intensive. You must observe the due dates for the assignments and email them to the professor by the dates and times specified. For this reason, it is not recommended that you wait until the day before an assignment is due to complete it – allow yourself time to listen to the podcast lectures, review the instructions for the assignments, and complete thoroughly considered, well-written pieces. Late work will be accepted at the professor’s discretion, generally only for a documented medical emergency. A scan of an original note from a nurse or physician is required.
